Gray Television equips 21 stations with P2 HD for ENG

Gray Television in Atlanta has purchased Panasonic P2 HD equipment to address the electronic newsgathering (ENG) requirements of 21 of its stations, the broadcast equipment vendor said at NAB2008 last week.

The purchase includes AG-HPX500 and AG-HVX200 P2 HD camcorders, AJ-HPM110 P2 Mobile and AG-HPG10 P2 Gear recorders and AJ-PCD20 P2 card drives.

Gray Television currently operates three dozen TV stations serving 30 markets. The stations are affiliated with CBS, NBC, ABC or FOX.
