Fusion gets flexible with Chyron products

Fusion is using Chyron products to aid in its facility expansion plans.

The Soho-based post production facility has purchased Chyron's Pro-Bel Eclipse and Freeway routers with an Aurora control system and panels.

The sale was via Sony SI. The equipment will be built into the facility off-site.

The Pro-Bel equipment will provide direct access from any suite within the facility to any other area or device. Fusion will also install a 128 x 256 Eclipse SDV router equipped 96 x 96, a Freeway 128 AES 96 x 96, Freeway RS422 32 port router, together with an Aurora control system and XY panels in the Central Apparatus Room.

In addition to those installations, Fusion will install a new comprehensive post production facility in D'Arblay Street, Soho. Every suite and VTR will be accessed via the Pro-Bel system - handling all video, audio and control.

The new facility will be opened at the begining of August.
