Frontline Receives Award for Export Achievement from U.S. Commercial Service

Frontline Communications, a leading manufacturer of custom broadcast and communications vehicles, has been awarded the U.S. Department of Commerce's Export Achievement Certificate for its outstanding work in the export marketplace. This major export award is given by the U.S. Department of Commerce's U.S. Commercial Service. The award was presented recently in a ceremony at Frontline's headquarters in Clearwater by U.S. Representative C.W. Bill Young (R-FL), who represents the Florida's 10th Congressional district in Pinellas County where Frontline Communications is located.

"Frontline Communications is an outstanding example of what small businesses can achieve in the export marketplace," said Congressman Young. "Ninety-five percent of the world's consumers live outside of the United Sates, and this vast export market is essential to maintaining and creating high-paying jobs here in Pinellas County and across the region. Together with the U.S. Commercial Service, Frontline and its employees have demonstrated once again that the work force here in Pinellas can compete with any work force in the world."

"Frontline is proud to accept this award in recognition of our efforts to develop new, international markets for our premium-quality command and communications products in the Middle East, Asia and Latin America," said Jonathan Sherr, Senior Vice President of Frontline Communications. "With the help of the dedicated staff of the Tampa Bay U.S. Export Assistance Center of the U.S. Department of Commerce, we have now opened new markets in Morocco and Saudi Arabia and are investigating additional opportunities on a global basis." Frontline has sold numerous broadcast vehicles in Europe, China and South America, as well as broadcast, command and specialty vehicles in the Saudi Arabian market in the past few years.
