At NAB2007 (booth #C5422), Frezzi Energy Systems, a provider of on-camera broadcast lighting and battery systems and support, will distribute its comprehensive 2007 Professional Power and Lighting Catalog.
Offering an extensive line of portable HMI lighting, Frezzi's product line is designed to help newsgathering and field production professionals produce a wide, smooth, flat optical field of light output that's unmatched in its size and weight.
The new catalog offers the most extensive HMI lighting choices and high-energy batteries for HD in the company's history. Unlike with SD models, HD cameras require additional power and lighting for a quality image. To meet this higher power requirement, Frezzi will showcase high-power density, on-board batteries at 200W hours in Li-Ion and 150W hours in NiMH. There are also new chargers with Frezzi's end-of-charge controls. In addition, the company will unveil a new pan-and-tilt camera control package with Ethernet control features.
The company's new HMI line includes the sleek, lightweight 18W and 24W HMI as well as the highest output 200W and 400W HMI lights. This line of HMI fixtures provides high efficiency with more than 80 lumens/watt and up to 600 percent greater output than other light sources. The HMI line is perfectly balanced for natural daylight at 5500K with a 92 color-rendering index.
At NAB, the company will also showcase a line of on-camera HD broadcast support gear, including lights in standard and dimmer controlled quartz and ultra-bright HMI Sun-Guns designs, ranging from 10W to 400W.
