Sarah Foss has been appointed president and CEO of VCI Solutions, the Springfield, Mass., business systems and automation concern. VCI founder W. Lowell Putnam will remain as chairman and chief strategy officer.
Foss joined VCI two years ago, and within the first three months led the acquisition of Digital Transaction Group, the company’s first such purchase. Prior to joining VCI, Foss was at Harris Broadcast Communications, as well as in management roles at local TV stations and at Internet start-ups.
Putnam will focus on new business models and emerging technologies, described by VCI as “a passion of his that led to the creation of VCI Solutions” 24 years ago.
