Fillin purchases Callisto-P

Callisto-P is a six-input 270Mb/s video switcher/mixer with 10-bit digital processing throughout.

Fillin, a United Kingdom-based, broadcast technical training and production company, recently purchased a compact Callisto-P SDI/composite switcher from Brick House Video. The switcher’s combination of analog and digital sources (with format conversion) and its small size made it a nice fit for Fillin’s wide-ranging productions.

The switcher has already been used at a Computer Fair in the Southeast of England to mixing a multi-camera AV production at the Presentation Theatre.

Callisto-P is the latest addition to Brick House Video’s Callisto range of hybrid SDI/composite switchers. The unit is a six-input 270Mb/s video switcher/mixer with 10-bit digital precision throughout. It includes genlock, embedded audio/VBI processing, auto/manual dissolves and wipes with auto fade to black, industry standard editor protocol, GPI and RS-422 remote ports and source identification features. It also incorporates both frame synchroniser modes, allowing any source to be included, while also offering the capability of changing to normal genlock operation for use in a fully synchronized environment in the future.
