Extensis has announced an event focusing on digital asset management (DAM) practices that will be held at Harvard University on Feb. 19. Radcliffe Institute hosts this free one-day conference for Advanced Study, Harvard University and Extensis focusing on digital asset management strategies and solutions.
While focused on DAM solutions for education, the conference will deal with a wide variety of issues, including the creation of images, PDFs, audio and video files. Best practices will be discussed using Extensis Portfolio Server 8.5 software.
The Portfolio Server is a multichannel system used to share media assets within a collaborative workgroup, across the organization and externally, with partners. Users can access assets through a variety of methods: within any application via Portfolio’s Express Palette, on the Web via a Portfolio NetPublish site, or directly through the Portfolio client.
The event will be held Feb.19 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Radcliffe Gymnasium at Harvard University in Cambridge. Register at www.extensis.com.
