DTG's AIRO Automation goes to Northwest Community Television

Digital Transaction Group, a provider of master control automation, announced that Northwest Community Television, a major U.S. cable access operation, has chosen AIRO Automation as part of its migration to a digital operation.

The AIRO automation system controls an Omneon video server to provide the core functionality for Northwest Community Television’s master control center. A key factor in the decision to go with AIRO was the affordability of the system.

Digital Transaction Group acquired AIRO Automation from Odetics Broadcast in September 2003. AIRO is a Windows 2000/XP-based system providing content management and multichannel automation.

Northwest Community Television and News 12 serve the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. News 12 provides a daily newscast, sports and special features focusing on the local community.
