Disney Prez to Address Industry Insiders at CES

The Consumer Electronics Association has selected key executives from Disney-ABC and AMD to speak at the "Industry Insider" event at the 2009 International CES, Jan. 8-11 in Las Vegas.

Anne Sweeney, co-chair of Disney Media Networks and president of Disney-ABC, will join Mike Griffith, president and CEO of Activision Publishing, and Dirk Meyer, president and CEO of chipmaker AMD, in delivering addresses at the one of the world’s largest tradeshows.

Meyer will kick off the event’s Industry Insider Series at 11 a.m. on Jan. 8 and Sweeney will deliver her presentation at that afternoon’s Industry Insider event at 2:30 p.m. Griffith is scheduled to take to the spotlight at 11 a.m. on Jan. 9 to conclude the show’s Industry Insider presentations.

The 2009 International CES will feature more than 2,700 exhibitors representing 30 product categories of consumer electronic devices.
