EchoStar's Dish Network will begin offering four high-definition channels in one package beginning Sept. 16. The channels are ESPN HD, Discovery HD Theater, HD Net and HD Net Movies. The network also offers other HD channels, such as CBS-HD, HBO-HD, Showtime HD and Dish-On-Demand pay-per-view movies.
Dish Network hopes to further strengthen its HD equipment line with its entry-level receiver/decoder, Dish 811, and its Dish Player-DVR 921, both available this fall.
