Dimension3 Expo will be held in Chalon-sur-Saône June 3-5, 2008. The event will present the technical and economic opportunities offered by 3D, through a series of conferences, an exhibition area, and a 3D film festival.
In its second year, Dimension3 seeks to create a strong grounding for a European market of 3D. For three days, conferences and debates on 3D's main issues will offer market analyses, feedback and information on the latest technological and business breakthroughs. In Dimension3 Village, partners of the event will present their innovative 3D solutions and products, either planned or on the market.
New in 2008: Dimension3 Expo encourages the development of 3D programmes, by creating the Dimension3 creative 3D project, a grant awarded to an innovative production project. Also new is 'Dimension 3 Learning,' a 5-day certifying 3D training course, the only one of its kind in Europe.
Dimension3 Festival will also be featured, the first European festival of 3D films. Dimension3 also includes an area dedicated to the public: Dimension 3 Experience. Featuring a workshop for 3D filming and content creation, product demonstrations, and more, Dimension3 Experience lets visitors discover tomorrow's television.
