At IBC2006, DELTACAST demonstrated DELTA-stat, a new, inexpensive technique for customized live sports branding.
The resulting system consists of a simple PC, a DELTACAST board and a custom graphical user interface (GUI) to automate the appearance of time, statistics and animation during live sports broadcasts.
Based on the customer graphics chart and animation definitions, DELTACAST customizes a version of DELTA-stat within just a few days. The graphics input can be as simple as a Photoshop file and the animation definition a textual description.
