TV station engineers should check the entries in the FCC's TV engineering database and if they find any errors notify Nai Tam at the FCC by this Friday, October 1. See RF Report for September 14 for a listing of the deadlines specified in the FCC's Second Report and Order on the DTV transition. NAB's TV TechCheck advises that FCC Form 381 should NOT be used for the October 1 corrections. Form 381 will be used to certify station information in the Table of Station Information, which will probably be released in November. Note that the FCC has not set firm dates for many of the deadlines, merely listed the expected month for the deadline.
