Crystal Vision introduces new output HD distribution amplifiers

Crystal Vision's four-output HDDA104R and the eight-output HDDA108R distribution amplifiers

Crystal Vision has rolled out its first HD products, the four-output HDDA104R and the eight-output HDDA108R distribution amplifiers.

Sized at 4x10.5in, the boards can distribute both 270Mb standard definition and the most commonly used high definition formats (defined by SMPTE 292), automatically detecting the standard of incoming video and switching to it.

The HDDA104R and HDDA108R can handle all data rates up to 1.485Gb/s and meet the -15dB input return loss that must be achieved for HD.

Comprehensive signal information is available by using the boards with the Statesman PC control software. The video standard in use is indicated by line rate, frame rate and pixels per line. Signal validity is demonstrated with input present, valid HD and SD. Board edge and active frame front panel monitoring are also available.
