Comprompter News and Automation has won an order from Tanzanian broadcaster ITV for supply its NewsKing newsroom automation system.
The NewsKing will be installed at ITV' site in Dar Es Salaam in the Autumn. Coupled with the Video Technics NewsFlow video server/editing system, the new Tapeless workflow will allow ITV to increase its news programming output.
NewsKing will generate graphics directly from the scripts and control video Play out's from the NewsCast Rundown. A pair of Video Technics Apella Servers in a NewsFlow configuration will provide the news and commercial content play out. Workstation editing and browsing allow multi-user nonlinear show preparation to occur throughout the facility on simultaneous shows.
