The new Cobalt Digital up/down/crossconverter boards offer HD/SD-SDI inputs, RGB color corrector and frame synchronization.

Cobalt Digitalz, a provider of high-quality signal processing gear for the broadcast industry, now offers a new line of up/down and crossconverters designed to work within the Ross Video openGear platform. The new products are based on customer feedback and include features for converting files in a highly reliable way.

Each converter is equipped with robust feature sets, designed for the most challenging applications. They include the 9822 downconverter with HD/SD-SDI input, embedded audio, frame sync, time code and closed-caption support; the 9064 up/down/crossconverter with HD/SD-SDI Input, RGB color corrector, and frame synchronization; 9067 Upconverter with SD-SDI input, embedded audio, frame sync, time code and closed-caption support; and the 9068 upconverter with SD-SDI input, time code and closed-caption support.
