Clear-Com Communication Systems has appointed Bob Romero as its new Global Customer Operations Director. Romero will be responsible for the company's worldwide service and support teams, including the application engineering, technical support and service and repair teams, based in the US and UK. He is also responsible for driving a new customer service strategy and improving the customer experience.
Romero joins from Advent Software, where built up a team to support the company's next-generation financial management software portfolio. He has also held senior posts with Chemoil Corporation, Bank of America, Ascend Communications, Alcatel-Lucent, Vpacket Communications (now part of Zhone Technologies) and IP Infusion.
"My goal is to establish Clear-Com's Global Customer Operations department as the pinnacle of service excellence within our industry. This is an exciting time for Clear-Com Communication Systems. The focus and mission for the company and specifically my team are to excel in our 'Customer Delight Program' and I'm honored to be a part of the team," Romero said.
He brings a long history in the communications equipment market as well overseeing energized and visionary leadership teams to Clear-Com.
