Chyron has announced that U.K. broadcast specialist MOOV will use Chyron's Lyric Pro graphics software on HyperX platforms for HD presentation graphics and design for BBC Sport during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver next February.
MOOV Managing Director Duncan Foot said, "During the Olympics there will be a huge number of hours of live and highlights programming on network television, online, and BBC Interactive via the Red Button. We will also be writing a custom interface to help manage results data and will be automating the creation of some graphics for use in edit suites at Television Centre.
"Those multiple requirements demanded the ultimate in graphic creation and deployment and for us, Chyron was the only choice when looking for a system to provide the quality, flexibility and reliability that we need to produce such a high-profile graphics package."
