Chyron Corp. has formed a technology partnership to integrate Forbidden Technologies’ “FORscene” Web-based video toolkit with Chyron’s AXIS Graphics Web services. It was demoed at the 2009 NAB Show last week.
FORscene is a frame accurate video editing platform growing rapidly in use in news gathering, distribution and post production. It provides tools for logging, editing and reviewing video. Integrated with Chyron’s AXIS, FORscene can be used from any computer, anywhere in the world.
“The emerging dominance of video communication on the Web has triggered a demand for high productivity, Web-based tools to support modern workflows,” Forbidden Technologies CEO Stephen Streater said. “FORscene is designed to meet this need and its integration with AXIS provides Chyron’s customers with easy access to this new world.”
