China Central Television (CCTV), the largest national TV network in China and host broadcaster of the Beijing Olympic Games, is building a new broadcast campus in Beijing and has purchased two of Fairlight’s Constellation mixing consoles powered by the CC-1 engine.
The two Constellations will run on Mac hardware and integrate into CCTV’s Dayang media network to deliver an entirely tapeless workflow for both audio and video.
Fairlight’s Beijing-based business partner JCE Electronic coordinated the project.
