CBS and ABC Boost Non-Television Partnerships

The Viacom Television Stations Digital Media Group has announced a number of new partnerships to its newly designed station websites as part of its "Always On" digital media initiative.

The TripAdvisor partnership will bring hotel reviews, travel tools, and destination guides to the sites. The AutoByTel partnership will add automotive information, research tools, and car buying resources. The Careerbuilder.com partnership adds job postings and employment articles. The Healthology partnership brings health content while the network communications partnership brings real estate content to the CBS websites.

Meanwhile, the ABC Television Network has entered into an agreement with Proteus, a leading provider of mobile content, that will allow viewers to personalize their mobile phones with premium content from all of ABC’s Daytime Soaps -- “One Life to Live,” “All My Children” and “General Hospital,” plus the Touchstone Television primetime hit, “Alias,” and late night show, “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
