Camera Corps heads to Beijing with 200 HD camera systems

Shepperton, UK-based Camera Corps will field more than 200 HD camera systems, 18 motorized tracking systems, remote heads and large camera cranes on behalf of the Beijing Games host broadcaster Beijing Olympics Broadcasting (BOB).

The full inventory of equipment being installed for the event includes high-level cranes, horizontal and vertical tracking cameras, underwater cameras and bull's-eye-mounted archery target cameras.

The inventory of cameras to be positioned in and around Beijing includes 39 Camera Corps HD MiniZoom, 68 Hitachi, four Iconix and four Toshiba cameras. An Abakus fisheye stadium lens will be installed above the Velodrome at Shi Jing Shan to cover the 250m-circumference cycle track.
