GoldPocket Interactive, a Tandberg Television company, received the Television Technology of the Year Award at the Digital Entertainment and Media Excellence Awards.
GoldPocket was honored for its EventMatrix interactive television (iTV) system, which has powered more than 20,000 hours of iTV programming for many of the world's media and distribution companies.
The award is given to the technology, application, platform, accessory or device that has biggest impact on the TV industry by offering something new to the industry.
