Mike Fazzi has been appointed Regional Sales Manager for the Eastern U.S. (east of the Mississippi and Ohio rivers) by Communications Specialties, Inc. (CSI). Based out of his office in Weems, VA, Fazzi will work with CSI's resellers and end users providing system integration solutions for the company's lines of fiber optic and video products. In addition, he will provide continuing support to the company's existing customer base.


Hugh Heinsohn has been appointed President of Digital Vision's US subsidiary Digital Vision US, based in North Hollywood. Heinsohn will be responsible for operations in North and South America.

Digital Vision has also appointed Lars Taflin

as its new CEO and Robert Ekstrom as its new COO.

Steven W. Sweeney has been named to the new position of Vice President, Business Development at IMAKE. Sweeney will be responsible for establishing IMAKE's global technology partnering program, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, and directing the overall sales and marketing strategy for IMAKE's suite of solutions that enable Video On Demand, interactive media, and other services within the digital broadcasting area.


Jon Ulfsrud has been named Leitch Technology

's regional sales manager for the South-Central region of the US. Ulfsrud will take over responsibilities from respected industry veteran, John Nielsen, who is retiring. Ulfsrud will handle all direct relationship and resale management for the region, which comprises the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and southern Missouri.
Leitch also announced that Christopher Soresi has joined the company as regional sales manager for the Southeast region and Christopher Ziemer will assume the role of regional sales manager for the New England region, including New York City.

Mitch Rabin has been tapped as Vice President of Studio City, Ca-based Opus 1 Music Library. Rabin will oversee various aspects of sales & marketing for the company's vast music library.


David Bryan joins the internal sales team of Pro-Bel having worked for the company for almost ten years in both strategic engineering and product management roles, concentrating on modular products including ICON and COSMOS.
Malcolm Butler also joins the internal sales team following an extensive career with Pro-Bel. Butler has been with the company for 20 years and joined as a Junior Software Engineer. Six years later, he was promoted to Team Leader and later took responsibility for managing software development.
Déborah Lehmani has also joined the company as Export Sales Manager.


Bruce Levine has been appointed national sales manager for QTV, part of the Autocue Group. Levine brings with him over 20 years of broadcasting experience including positions with Chyron and Pixel Power.


David Eng has joined the staff of TANDBERG Television as Director of Cable Business Development, where he is responsible for expanding the company's exposure throughout the cable industry in the Americas.
David Wright, as Senior Account Manager, Broadband, for TANDBERG, will lend his technical sales expertise in both telco video and cable accounts throughout the United States.

Jeff Wood has joined Austin, TX-based Digital Transaction Group as the national sales manager. Wood brings twenty plus years of experience and knowledge in automation software and station workflows. Most recently with Encoda, Wood has also worked for Alamar, Louth, and Harris.


Sarah Stanfield has joined Pipeline Communications, a New York-based public relations and marketing firm, as a senior account executive. In her new role, she will be responsible for promoting the products and services of several high tech companies including FOR-A and Vizrt. Stanfield previously served as managing editor of DigitalTV and Sports TV Production magazines and as a frequent contributor to Videography magazine.


Paul Weiser has been appointed vice president of sales at Thought Equity, the Denver, CO-based video management and stock footage licensing service.

Jill Taylor has been appointed account executive for the northeast at TapeOnline and will be heading up the new Washington, DC office.
Andra Callier joins TapeOnline as southeast account executive and will be managing the Atlanta, GA office.
