Avid's 'Do More Tour' to Tackle HD Transition

Avid is hosting two industry events to explore HD postproduction trends and to demo its latest gear.
In Los Angeles on May 18 and in New York City on June 9, Avid will show--and attendees can test drive--its range of HD products, including:
- Avid DNxHD encoding system
- Avid Symphony Nitris system
- Avid DS Nitris system
- The Media Composer Adrenaline HD system with the Avid Dnxcel board
- The Avid Xpress Studio HD and Avid Xpress Pro HD systems

The Los Angles event will take place from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, Calif. and the New York event gets started at 6:30 p.m. at Strata.
