Avid Announces New EVP/Chief Administrative Officer

Avid Technology has announced the appointment of Ken Sexton as the company’s new executive vice president and chief administrative officer. Sexton will be responsible for all of the company’s administrative functions, including investor relations, finance, legal, human resources, and information technology.

Sexton has more than 30 years of business leadership experience and was previously associated with webMethods, Infor Inc., Peregrine Systems and others.

“Ken brings deep experience and a successful track record of managing these very important administrative functions to Avid,” said Gary Greenfield, Avid’s chairman and CEO. “With a strong leadership team and the right management systems in place, we can better focus on our customer-facing initiatives and, ultimately, on our customers’ success.”

In his new position, Sexton will report directly to Greenfield.
