"Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs," the unexpected computer-animated hit from Sony Pictures, soared to the top of the Blu-ray movie bestsellers in its first week in release, passing another theater surprise hit, "The Hangover," which won a Golden Globe for Best Comedy or Musical Film on Jan. 17.
Thus, computer-animated titles bookended the Top 10, as the Disney-Pixar film "Up" (another Golden Globe winner) hung on after several weeks on the list at number 10. Four of the Top 10 are Warner Brothers titles.
According to Nielsen VideoScan, the top 10 Blu-ray titles for the week ending Jan. 10 are:
