Weather Central unveils display system

Weather Central has unveiled WxPoint, a solution that delivers hyper-local forecasts with real-time weather and Doppler radar, regardless of subscriber size.

WxPoint provides viewers with accurate weather information for pinpoint locations. There is no dish hardware set-up, and the system includes everything needed to program a cable, kiosk or video display system. Proximity to a National Weather Service site is not an issue; WxPoint is powered by Weather Central's MicroCast forecast model data and local weather sensors. In addition, it allows operators to program advertising automatically and measure the frequency of ads and images being displayed.
