Sony Pictures Entertainment has partnered with Hewlett-Packard and Ascent Media Group (AMG) to digitize its library of both film and television media assets.
Using HP’s Digital Media Platform, a new digital technology and services package created by AMG and HP, Sony will become one of the first studios to digitize its content.
The digitization process began in November and is well underway, with over 500 film and television productions already on the new platform.
