The Society of Broadcast Engineers has honored the Ross Video OverDrive production control system with its 2004 SBE Technology Award.

The award recognizes the SBE individual or sustaining member who in the previous year provided the industry with the best new or innovative technical item or idea to further the science of broadcast engineering and to assist the broadcast engineer to be more productive in the craft.

The award will be presented during the SBE National Meeting taking place Oct. 19th and 20th in Grapevine (Dallas/Ft. Worth), TX.

OverDrive is a Windows-based production control system. It uses the extensive device control capabilities of the Ross Video Synergy and extends the reach of the technical director to include control of video servers, audio mixers, robotic cameras and other devices.
