At the Digital Retailing Expo in San Francisco, NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display of America showcased its large-screen series of LCD displays. The displays are available in two 40-inch styles – black-bezel and silver-bezel LCD4000 – as well as a 30-inch black-bezel LCD3000 model.
The LCD4000 and LCD3000 models offer features that include a wide aspect ratio, 1280x768 (WXGA) resolution, picture-in-picture capability, 170-degree viewing angle, and DDC/CI capabilities to allow control commands to be sent directly to the monitor through a standard PC or via an existing network. The monitors support full-motion video as well as optional touch or protective glass integration to enable additional interactive applications.
