MultiDyne to unveil multiplexer, demultiplexer at IBC2006

MultiDyne will unveil its DTV-250 analog and digital audio multiplexer and demultiplexer for serial digital video at IBC2006 in Amsterdam this September. The DTV-250 supports four channels of analog audio or two stereo AES/SPDIF channels per card. Multiple cards can be cascaded to support up to 16 audio channels per SDI stream.
The system supports 143Mb/s, 177Mb/s, 270Mb/s, 360Mb/s and 540Mb/s serial digital video and 24-bit audio at 48KHz. The DTV-250 supports up to eight channels of either RS232, RS422, RS485 or CMOS/TTL in the analog audio mode. The system plugs into the MultiDyne UTIL-200-DVM utility tray.
