Konan Digital's scalable systems incorporate an open standards architecture to ensure compatibility with third-party applications while eliminating interoperability issues.
Konan Digital, a provider of media asset management (MAM) solutions for the broadcast, corporate enterprise and content creation markets, offers two new systems to help mange assets in the most efficient way.
DigitalArc for News and DigitalArc for Production help streamline production workflows and news operations by using a scalable and open digital architecture.
Both systems allow broadcasters and production houses to either replace the entire infrastructure all at once with a file-based digital MAM-centric environment or to integrate one or more standalone DigitalArc components.
The scalable systems incorporate an open-standards architecture to ensure compatibility with third-party applications while eliminating interoperability issues. The systems have already been demonstrated with products from Avid, Grass Valley, Front Porch Digital and Xytech Systems, the company said.
