Fidelis upgrades DataSafe extrusion prevention system

Fidelis Security Systems has announced the availability of DataSafe Version 3.7, a network security solution that prevents the unauthorized network transfer of critical or sensitive information across all channels on gigabit speed networks.

DataSafe protects digital assets such as personally identifiable information, credit card data, source code and intellectual property from extrusion across all network channels including e-mail, http, Webmail, FTP, electronic messaging and peer-to-peer communications.

The latest release of DataSafe provides full support for any 64-bit Red Hat Enterprise Linux architecture. The expanded memory enables DataSafe to decode a virtually unlimited number of network sessions. In addition, expanded symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) support enables the software to provide all-channels prevention on multi-gigabit speed networks. Version 3.7 also provides more advanced decoders for electronic messaging, Webmail, and peer-to-peer protocols, as well as a unified interface for notification reporting to enterprise event management systems.
