Chyron shows MOS solution for newsroom integration

Chyron’s MOS solution gives journalists control over the look and content of their newscasts.

Chyron’s new MOS solution streamlines graphic operations and gives journalists and producers control over the look and content of news graphics.

When integrated with MOS newsroom computer systems (NCS) such as AP’s ENPS, Avid’s Iinews and Dalet’s OpenMedia, Chyron’s MOS improves and speeds the graphics creation workflow. Users can create and edit template-based text and graphics for real-time playout on Chyron’s Duet CG systems.

The company’s ActiveX interface allows efficient asset browsing and graphics production so that an NCS user can —from a newsroom workstation- remotely access a library of graphics templates from the MOS server.
