AJA Video's HDP miniature converter for LCD or plasma monitors
At IBC2004, AJA Video introduced five digital converters to IBC attendees, including the HDP HD-SDI/SDI to DVI-D and audio converter. The four remaining converters have been released in recent months, expanding AJA’s line of miniature and rack-mounted converters.
The HDP is a miniature converter for LCD or plasma monitors that uses a high-quality scaling engine to automatically size 4:3 or 16:9 HD or SD inputs to virtually any DVI-D monitor, including LCD monitors up to 1920x1200 resolution. For appropriate monitor configurations, scaling is automatic at 1:1. The HDP will also adapt the input frame rate for monitor compatibility and includes two-channel audio output.
