Triveni to Show New StreamScope Features

Triveni Digital will debut its new StreamScope Enterprise Monitor (EM-40) enterprise-wide service quality assurance solution at the NAB Show. The StreamScope EM-40 is aimed at proactive, real-time, service-based response. It proactively detects, localizes, analyzes, isolates, and remedies faults impacting video services based on predefined rules.

The EM-40 allows broadcasters, service providers, and IPTV networks to reduce customer downtime and complaint response costs by providing the user full remote analysis capabilities of any monitored streams. Alarms are generated when a transport stream has fallen outside a specified configuration. Integrated trend analysis enables engineering staff to analyze past issues.

Also at NAB, Triveni Digital will add the RM-40SE RF monitoring probe to its StreamScope test and measurement product line. The RM-40SE is a full-featured, in-depth, 24/7 unattended remote monitoring instrument that performs comprehensive MPEG video monitoring for real-time RF streams. The compact device verifies DTV transport streams carried by service providers including broadcasters, cable, telcos, satellite, mobile TV and IPTV operators.

The RM-40SE represents the first implementation of the new SCTE-142 (formerly HMS-158) standard. The StreamScope line itself supports ATSC, ATSC A/78, and ETR 101 290. Introduction of the EM-40 and the RM-40SE rounds up a complete monitoring solution focusing across the entire broadcast/broadband operation, whether on a local, regional or national scale.

Triveni Digital will be in Booth SU5605.
