TeamCast at NAB2008 will display its new GFX-0300 gap filler engine, designed to help transmitter manufacturers launch non-regenerative gap filler and repeater products for most of the major mobile and digital terrestrial TV segments.
Among the formats supported by the GFX-0300 are DVB-T/H, DAB/T-DMB, ATSC, FLO, D-TMB, CMMB and ISDB-T. Key features include an input tuner, optimized on-channel repeater technology, an RF downconverter, a digital processing platform and an upconverter. In addition, the gap filler is SFN compliant, has high-frequency selectivity, a digital echo-canceller and linear and nonlinear precorrection circuits. It works in the VHF and UHF bands in the 6MHz and 8MHz channels.
