SysMedia to Get Interactive at NAB2007 With Plasma Gold System

SysMedia will demonstrate new compatibility with ETV-BIF and ACAP, delivering interactivity to all key middleware platforms at NAB2007. The addition of these platforms extends the scope of SysMedia's Plasma Gold interactive content production system to the majority of digital set-top boxes.

SysMedia will show how to roll out profitable iTV services using its widely deployed Plasma Gold software to handle interactive content, service design and data feeds, assisted through the relationships developed with iTV playout companies. Plasma Gold is used in Europe and Asia, and delivers to ETV-BIF, ACAP, OCAP, IPTV, OpenTV, MediaHighway, MHEG and MHP.

The company is actively participating in the ATSC ACAP field trial.

SysMedia will also demonstrate its Speech Following technology, which enables automatic synchronization between text and audio, saving time for subtitling and captioning operations using its WinCAPS software.

SysMedia will be in booth SU11308.
