Sierra Video expands router family with reverse matrix line

Sierra Video has added a Reverse Matrix switcher to its Sierra Pro XL routing switcher family. The new switchers target applications where a small number of inputs (sources) and a larger number of outputs (destinations) are required.

The Sierra Pro XL Reverse Matrix routing switchers are available as three-wire or five-wire routing switchers in 8 x 16 or 16 x 32 configurations. The three-wire Reverse Matrix switcher is ideal for customers employing wideband analog HD signal sources such as HD satellite, cable TV HD receiver boxes, or DVD or Blu-ray devices as sources. The five-wire Reverse Matrix switcher can handle high-bandwidth VGA signals from computers or DVI output devices. Stereo audio options are available for each of these frames.

In addition, the Reverse Matrix switchers offer all of the advanced features in the Sierra Pro XL routing switcher family, including Matrix Mapping Universal Breakaway Switching, Video Follow Sync Switching, room grouping and adjustable audio gain and attenuation. A front-panel control interface with LCD display and Sierra Video’s TyLinx Pro user interface make the routing switchers easy to configure and operate. All models are equipped with an RJ-45 connector for IP control over your LAN or WAN and offer an RS-232 serial interface supported by all major third-party control systems.
