Rohde & Schwarz has launched a new diversity test receiver for mobile measurement of DVB network coverage. The TSM-DVB DVB-T diversity test receiver is designed for measurement use with vehicle speeds up to up 100 km per hour and supports all DVB-T modes.
The unit provides a full range of measurements, including RF level, modulation error ratio, packet error ratio, and also provides information about the transport stream. The receiver operates on 12 V and is designed to be used in conjunction with a Windows-based PC or notebook computer equipped with as RS-232 interface. It is equipped with two antenna inputs and two demodulation channels.
