Riedel introduces Performer C3 digital beltpack/headset

The C3 is an ergonomically shaped, fully digital two-channel belt-pack that includes features from conventional analog party line systems.

Riedel Communications launched the Performer C3, a digital beltpack/headset intercom station at NAB2005.

Based on technology used in Riedel’s C2 digital beltpack, the C3 is a fully integrated, digital two-channel solution for combined digital matrix and party-line style intercom use. The platform can be used as a stand-alone or in conjunction with matrix systems such as Riedel’s Artist.

The C3 is an ergonomically shaped, fully digital two-channel belt-pack that includes features from conventional analog party line systems including daisy-chaining.

Operation is convenient. One control is used for talk and listen for each channel. The C3 has three XLR connectors, one for head-set, one for input and one for loop through. The loop through XLR connector can be used as an additional analog program input.
