Pace Boasts First Digital Cable Adapter
By TVTechnology published
Not ready to throw out your brand new analog set quite yet? At the NCTA's National Show 2003, Pace Micro Technology Americas plans to display the answer: the first Digital Cable Adapter.
Pace's DCA, which will convert digital video signals for viewing on analog TV sets, is a big step for the consumer market, providing an option for those with analog sets to keep their TV's and still receive digital programming.
Pace will also be showing HD set-top technology, the DC-550 HD, which is currently being deployed by Time Warner Cable and others; the DC-755 HD, a Motorola two-way network-compatible set-top; and the DC-510, which is in use by Comcast, Time Warner and Bright House Networks.
