Toronto-based Ward-Beck will showcase its audio monitoring product line at NAB2005.

The AMS8-1 is a compact, 1RU aural and visual monitor designed to handle multichannel format audio signals. Eight PPM/V LED bargraphs display signal activity, while a four speaker system allows operators to listen to the signal being monitored.

Operators can configure the AMS8-1 for their own unique monitoring needs by using a combination of the eight-segment LED dot-matrix readout, the eight lighted pushbuttons and the two rotary shaft encoders with integral pushbutton switchers. This flexibility allows users to generate a proportional stereo mix, provide global control for monitoring and even to effect voice-over on Dolby signals.

Ward-Beck will also demonstrate its RLM24 multiple digital audio meter system at the show.

Ward-Beck will be in Booth C1924.
