Network Electronics, the Norwegian router manufacturer, has reinvented its VD1616 Serial Digital Router to provide 540 Mbps of video data and improved input equalizing and output re-clocking, all with reduced power consumption.
It's the latest addition to Network's VikinX compact router lineup, using the latest available chip technology, the company said.
The non-re-clocking version, VD1616NRC, is still available.
