Jampro to Show New UHF Transmission Products

Jampro will showcase its new Jampro UHF RWED-516-U four-port directional filter/combining unit at NAB. It can be used either as a mask filter or as a constant impedance-combining module for high power UHF broadcasting.

The RWED-16-U has a cross-coupled design that accommodates adjacent channels, meets stringent filtering standards and provides constant impedance performance in adjacent channel applications as well as channel separations greater than 15 channels. The RWED-16-U can be expanded to handle future channels.

The new Prostar Broadband UHF slot antenna supports either analog or DTV broadband applications. The Prostar Broadband UHF eliminates the need for multiple antennas and provides a single, compact solution that conserves tower space and minimizes wind load.

Jampro also will feature the latest antennas and RF components for TV and radio broadcasters-DTV, FM HD, low-power FM, transmitter combiners, HD radio injectors, filters, transmission lines and frequency matched towers solutions. Among these are the compact RCCC mask filter/combiner for DVB-T and DTV. Designed for bandpass and channel combining, the product is convection cooled, temperature compensated, easily mounted on the ceiling, and guaranteed for high-isolation and low-insertion loss.

Jampro’s JTS test product is a compact solution that permits access to the antenna or the coax system without the need for a tuned elbow complex. Available for Band I (Low Band TV), Band II (FM), Band III (Hi Band TV) and Band IV (UHF TV), JTS comes with fixed bullets for input and output, plus one “O” ring, hardware set, pass-through connection, and test turn.

Jampro will be in Booth C2607.
