HME to demo one-to-one wireless intercom at AES

HME will show its new DX121 One-to-One wireless intercom system at AES in New York City beginning Oct. 9.

The system is optimized for users requiring wireless channels for one to four users, as well as those that need the flexibility of expanded wireless support throughout large venues. HME said the system’s compact, robust design was engineered for longevity, while it remains easy to operate and is affordable.

The DX121 plugs into the intercom headset jack of any hardwired intercom station, extending the range of the operator for up to 1000ft. It can support multiple channel applications; up to eight systems can be used in the same location.

The DX121 base has a built-in battery charger for the remote Communicator battery that also works as a power source during power outages or glitches. It has headset and four-wire connections, relay actuation and the latest 2.4GHz FHSS technology.

The DX121 supports such applications as individual wireless channels for broadcast control rooms and live events. It can be packaged with any of the existing or previous versions of HME remote communicators including the BP200 Beltpac, the WH200 All-In-One Wireless Headset, or the WS200 Wireless Speaker Station.
