Harris to introduce digital-ready, two-cabinet Atlas solid-state transmitter

The two-cabinet Atlas Analogue transmitter offers an alternative for stations replacing tube transmitters with more efficient solid-state technology.
Harris' Broadcast Communications Division will show analog and digital transmission solutions at NAB2005 with an expanded range of Atlas Analogue UHF solid-state transmitters.
Harris will show a two-cabinet Atlas Analogue transmitter. The models offer an alternative for those stations replacing tube transmitters with more efficient solid-state technology.
Available in power levels ranging from 2.5kW to 30kW, the Atlas Analogue can currently operate in the analog domain, but can be converted to digital in the future.
