Harris introduces CENTRIO broadcast multiviewer

Harris has introduced CENTRIO, a multi-image processor designed to streamline complex, large-system broadcast monitoring applications.

Combining an advanced graphics engine and a routing infrastructure in a single, expandable chassis, CENTRIO is well suited for broadcast, multivideo, audio monitoring, master control rooms, broadcast trucks, events and staging applications.

Incorporating Harris Inscriber graphics technology, CENTRIO enables customizable image layouts. Layouts can be customized per output using graphical elements to create an effective, intuitive monitoring environment. The graphics engine enables multiviewer features such as scrolling picture-in-pictures (PIPs) and integrated test and measurement applications.

The system is based on the Harris Platinum router architecture, which is capable of accessing up to 512 inputs (HD, SD, analog or graphic) and driving up to 32 independent DVI displays or 64 independent HD-SDI monitors from a single chassis.
