FCC Chairman Martin, Sen. Landrieu to Speak at Show

FCC Chairman Kevin Martin and U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu, (D-La.), will be among featured speakers during the NAB convention in Las Vegas.

Landrieu will appear at the Washington Policy & Politics Breakfast and the All-Industry Opening Keynote on Monday, April 16.

The Washington Policy & Politics Breakfast will feature a discussion with Landrieu. It will examine political trends and how decisions made in Washington can impact broadcasters.

During The All-Industry Opening Keynote, the senator from Louisiana will discuss the service provided by local broadcasters before, during and after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Landrieu is chairman of the Disaster Recovery Subcommittee of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee; she serves on the Senate Appropriations, Energy and Natural Resources, and Small Business Committees.

Chairman Martin will speak at a special event on Wednesday, April 18. Details are not yet available.
